In Arafat, the prince and pauper are alike
Last night, I bawled and cried so much till my eyes could hardly open in the morning. & till now I haven't heard any news from them, cept the last msg that they had already boarded the plane and a couple of miss Us and love Us :'(
They should be in their ihram by now. The white clothing that for a few days, a reminder of equality and leading a modest and simple life. Sleeping in tents and under their sweaters. Making their way to Arafat.I like this phrase, in Arafat, the prince and pauper are alike. And then moved on to Mudzalifah. I'm learning myself. A thing or two. And it gets interesting hearing from experiences. Sometimes it makes you feel like experiencing it for yourself. It's very exciting.
3 MILLION people from all over the world, all doing the same thing. All seeking for the same purpose. Just thinking and seeing it on TV, it's just so amazing. I'm very happy for my parents.
They're really excited too. But then again, it's a life and death journey. My mom in law then said, you know what's the common thing about sending off people and the significance of something else other than the berkah you get? She said, it's the same as melawat someone who has passed away. Coz you send them off, but you don't follow them. what happens over at the other side, you'll never know. And that made me cried my eyes out even more. :'(
But Z had a different perspective, you don't cry when they solat do you? You don't cry when they zakat do you? Then it's the same, so don't worry, they're doing something good and hopefully rewarding. Insyallah.
