I had a haircut today coz my hairfall was getting bad. I don't know if it's my diet or, the shampoo tt I've been using or the stress of jobsearching tt has taken a toll on me till my hair also gave its way. So my hair's really short. Short hair is better than no hair as 'some' would say.

So I've decided to follow a routine for proper hair regrowth.
I shall use the shampoo tt is suitable for my scalp tt is herbal Essence. After which I need to massage my scalp till there's a little heat from the rubbing. This is to promote blood circulation to my scalp. Then I should religiously lather on olive oil before I sleep. And I've heard so many good things abt henna. So I'm gonna try putting it on sometime soon. Hair stinks nvm, as long as it's healthy. :)

Maybe I shd get orang areng. Hitam Dan berkilat.

Last Thursday was one of the mossst interesting things I've learnt. It's like a summary of questions and answers tt I had in my head. I've learnt so much I had to pour it all out to Z who couldn't attend tt day's lesson. And I wish I could share it all out here.

Eversince I was a kid I always question the 'Islamic things' I'm supposed to do. Not tt I don't hv faith in the things I do. It's just I just can't fathom the reason behind doing things the way it is. I always believe...

To question, is to gain knowledge. With knowledge comes interest and it brings you closer to Allah.

A simple simple example. Cutting nails and hair during menstruation. I don't know why but even when I was young, I just felt this could be more of a culture thing than an Islamic thing.
But sometimes all these small things could lead to a very big practice altogether. Like how do u Mandi hadas. Kalau salah, then yr ibadah semua tak sah, oh maybe tak sempurna.

Then came along Z..
He had the answers to all my queries. And the answer was so simple. So easy. And it has always been there all along. It's a matter of finding out, searching and seeking.

Ahl Sunnah wal' jamaah.

If in doubt, refer back to rasullullah's practices (sunnah) together with the quraan.
A simple simple example.
The kitab doesn't teach us the steps to do the solat or how to ambil wudu'. And allllll along, nabi Muhammad was the one who teaches us the correct way of doing things. Sooo... The way right way to lead our lives is to follow the quraan and the sunnah from rasullullah.

There comes the part we learn Hadiths. Where bukhari and Muslim is the most authentic Hadith. And we should be wary of bid'ah. Inventions created by people tt doesn't follow sunnah at all. Tt alot of our malay culture introduces. So we must always look for sources tts shahih! :)

I could go on and on really. This just gets more interesting.

You know, there are just so many things I wanna do for myself. Not really, the kinda things that you wanna accomplish in life. More like, 'Let's do this and make it work' moments. But then, there are voices in my head keeps telling me that, I don't really wanna do this, its just a phase that I'm going thru. Seperti pepatah melayu, angan-angan tahi ayam saje. And then, I'll stop. Put a hold on everything that I had already planned. It's pretty dissapointing if you ask me. Not being able to execute what you have imagined before. you could see it crystal clear in your head, but sadly, nothing tangible.

So then, how do I know that what I want is not just a phase?

All these were going thru my head and this! came to the rescue.

It's one of the few off days that I have today..
I've got it all planned out..
Need to clean the room, fold the clothes, do some laundry
and a little bit of marketing. Oh! clear the storage, wipe/sanitize the tabletop.

We've been sick for the past 2 weeks. High fever, cough, cold you name it, we have it.
So, we need to keep clean. And I'm in dire need of rest. The x'mas season is no fun at all, events coming up, extended hours and traffic jams, it's just sooo... difficult.

That is why I needed that short break for a jump start to a new phase of life..
Insyallah, with the right attitude and guidance from Allah, I'd like to land myself in a beneficial place where I can still practice the mandatory.
I know I've been complacent, but that has to stop. I need to focus and get back on track.
So yes! It shall start today!

I love love weddings.. Not only you get to dress up :) heee.. We get to learn something new everyday. So.. today's akad nikah went something like this..

It was meaningful, it reminded us of our purpose in life. Bringing each other and the people around us to bring our imaan to greater heights. We all need constant reminders once in a while. Insyallah..
